About The Digital Communications Infrastructure Level 3 Course:
The EAL Digital Communications Infrastructure course provides delegates with the correct skills to install, fusion splice, terminate, maintain and fault find digital network cabling infrastructure in multiple environments. The Digital Communications Infrastructure course provides a level 3 Ofqual recognised qualification that is also recognised by the telecommunications industry and the rail industry with a structured career path.
The Digital Communications Infrastructure course provides you with the right qualification and skills for installation and testing of fibre optics and data network communications cabling for telecommunications, local area networks (LAN's), data centres, passive optical networks PON, external fibre optic jointing, splicing and testing, blown fibre and network data cabling within offices and buildings or fibre optics in data centres or optical local area networks.
The course has been designed around the current needs of telecommunications and rail industry, and covers fibre optics, blown fibre, passive optical and copper networks. The course is outcome based and focuses on practical, hands on elements from which students tend to learn more thoroughly.
The course runs over ten days and provides the knowledge and expertise to install communications network cabling.
The skill sets are in very high demand within the UK as well as further afield, communication network installers having the right skills and qualifications go a long way when applying for a job.
The course is broken down into two modules to obtain the Digital Communications -1 x mandatory and 1 x optional modules detailed below.

This course is taught by qualified instructors who have been vetted by the awarding bodies. Our instructors also keep their hand in on field work work within the industry so their skills are kept up to date.
Our training centre has been designed and modified to ensure it matches real life scenarios for you to learn in a real world environment, not at a desk. The centre has a 10km fibre network with faults so you can learn to diagnose and rectify faults in a network. As well as having a fibre network, we also have a copper network which includes Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a complete with faults for you to diagnose and repair.
We make the training fun and enjoyable, so you learn in a friendly environment. Extra tuition is always available if required. On completion of the course you will be able to install, test and maintain fibre optic and network cabling.
Our training centre recently got upgraded to include overhead poling, drop wire installation, underground network infrastructure for external jointing and cable pulling all the tasks that are required by field engineers this provides real hands on training. Progression would be to complete the C&G 3667 level 3 planning and design course
