About The Design and Planning of Enterprise Networks Course:
The City and Guilds 3667-03 Unit 2 Design and Plan for an Internal Network Cabling Infrastructure is an optional unit that can be done alongside Unit 1.
This unit will provide the candidate with the basic principles needed to plan an underground cable route. Candidates will be able to develop an understanding of how internal or campus communications infrastructure is specified, planned and provided.
There are five outcomes to this unit:

Prepare for and carry out a site survey for the provision of an internal Networking Cabling Infrastructure (NCI)

Identify a range of options for the provision of internal NCI services and select the optimum routes

Produce designs for the provision of an internal NCI

Produce detailed plans for an internal NCI

Coordinate the provision of an internal NCI
Once the full course is completed, candidates may progress onto additional modules listed below:
