Our training centre has been designed and modified to ensure it matches real life scenarios, for you to learn in a real world environment, not at a desk, the centre has a 10km singlemode fibre network with faults so you can learn to diagnose and rectify faults in a network, as well as having a fibre network the copper network includes Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and telephony network, we are one of the only centres to offer practical hands on training of Cat6a installation, termination and testing.
We make the training fun and enjoyable so you learn in a friendly environment. Extra tuition is always available if required.On completion of the course you will be able install, test and maintain fibre optic network cabling. This includes the following key skills

This course is suitable for anyone wishing to start a career in data cabling, with a recognised industry qualification normally from city and guilds. The 3667-02 communications cabling course was designed for the industry by industry experts. You will learn the correct procedures of installation and testing of copper networks.

The course City and Guilds certified data installer 3667-02 level 2 unit 4 is a highly sought after qualification. You will learn everything you need to start installing and testing data and structured cabling systems, from cat5e through to cat6A connections as well as structured cabling you will also learn telephony cabling and so much more, our courses start from 3 days through to two weeks.
You may already be an engineer but have no formal qualification because you have completed on the job or vendor training. Many organisations including, local government, education establishments, are asking contractors, engineers and organisations for this formal qualification regardless whether you have completed manufacturers training, they now want to see your vocational training certificates.
The certified data installer certification allows you to apply for Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) communications installer card when completed with unit 1 Communication Principles.
At the end of the course you will be required to pass a practical examination and two online City & Guilds exams using Evolve test platform, on successful completion you will be awarded the City & Guilds 3667-02 Fibre Optic certificate.
