This course is units 2 and 3 fibre optics internal and external over 5 days, it covers C&G 3667-02 units 2 & 3 formerly C&G3666-02 it cover all aspects of fibre optic  installation, splicing, connectors, termination and testing of fibre optic cables in an internal/external environment. It covers all aspects of testing, OTDR, ILM, Link loss budget, network testing on a real network. The course runs Monday to Friday, additional study in the evenings is required, the centre is open in the early mornings and evenings for delegates, who wish to come in early or stay late, An instructor is always on hand for 1:1 tuition.

• Outcome 1: Work safely with optical fibres in an internal environment
• Outcome 2: Follow recommended installation procedures
• Outcome 3: Prepare fibre optic cable for fibre connectors and splicing
• Outcome 4: Splice together optical fibres using Fusion splicing and Mechanical splicing
• Outcome 5: Terminate fibre optic cables by fitting connectors
• Outcome 6: Test fibre optic links in accordance to industry standards
• Outcome 7: Identify the safe working practices in communication systems

During the course you will be assessed by industry approved trainers, on completion you will be required to sit, 2 online examinations of around 25 in each a total of 50 each exam is multiple choice.You will be awarded the full C&G 3667-02 Certification in fibre optics.
