TNS Europe was contacted by a client to assist with a network audit; the job entailed tracing all patch cables within the cabinet and producing a patching schedule so the client could maintain their network.

We could not believe what we had found when arriving on site, as they say a picture paints a thousand words, the network was fully tested, only to find that some data points had been wired with CW1308, 4 pair telephony cable, we found network cables that had been stapled to walls, some of which had the staple going through the cable.
