No previous experience or knowledge required, we teach you everything you need to know from day one, without you being a scientist or a geek. 

Leaving the HM Armed Forces is no easy transition it’s time to leave and start a new life as a civilian. It’s a time of change, anxiety and excitement. It is also something that should be carefully planned and considered.
 
TNS Europe are an approved training provider by the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) and Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC provider provider number ELC-3301), TNS Europe offer training packages to the HM Forces, with discounts to our normal pricing excluding any promotional offers . On completion of our courses we help you prepare your CV, and submit them to partner recruitment companies to start you new career. They are constantly recruiting for Telecomms engineers, Cabling engineers & Cisco engineers, some of which have contracts with Virgin Media, BT, C&W, Nato, the MOD and many leading clients all looking for your skills.

 
You can start a new exciting career as a Cabling engineer by completing the C&G 3667-02 there is no entry requirement for this, you will qualified to install and terminate data cabling Cat5e, Cat6, Fibre optic termination and testing, you can the progress using the remainder of your resettlement to progress onto Cisco qualifications, it is advised that if you have no networking skills, you start with Cisco CCENT which leads to an industry qualification, this is the entry level, and progress to CCNA, again being an industry approved qualification.

Civilian companies look for skills and a can do attitude and want the best value for money, we know this as we talk to businesses every day, we have devisednumerous  packages to assist any service leaver, we are not like other providers, the owner of the company is ex forces himself and so are many of the field engineers employed by the comapny. Packages start from 1 week onwards:

We are now taking booking for a four & five week course, for the new year quickly, remember we only except eight students per course. We are not new to the forces, 75% of TNS Europe are ex forces all of which have been in your shoes, the owner is an ex infantry soldier who has over 15 years industry experience in designing and building complex networks worldwide

  • Option 1: C&G 3667-02 & Cisco Certification, duration 4 weeks, Resettlement grant & ELC credits Cost non-residential £4217.00 excl vat , residential course £6752.00 including vat

 

  • Option 2: C&G 3667-02, Cisco Certification, Emergency First Aid, Asbestos & IPAF duration 5 weeks. Resettlement grant & ELC credits Cost non-residential £4900.00 excluding vat. residential £7400.00 including vat

What qualifications do you get?

  1. Option 1 Full C&G award 3667-02 units 1 to 4 plus CCENT & CCNA on completion of Cisco exams. Plus you can apply for CSCS card
  2. Option 2: Full C&G award 3667-02 units 1 to 4 plus CCENT & CCNA on completion of Cisco exams. HSE Emergency First Aid qualification, Asbestos certificate, working at hieghts certificate and IPAF qualification Plus you can apply for CSCS card

What do you get?

The cisco certification starts with the CCENT, no previous knowledge required, during the course you get full access to labs, official Cisco courseware, practice simulators to take away and keep, test CD so you can prepare for your exams, all tutors are approved by Cisco and hold CCIE qualification.

If you have some experience then you can chose to opt out of the CCENT and just complete the ICND 2 CCNA module you get all the above.

Flexible options

Choose your own option as we are flexible, you dont have to complete all the training in one go, you can complete the C&G 3667-02, then have a break before starting the Cisco, we do advise spliting the Cisco courses up if you have no previous knowledge or experience.

  • C&G 3667-02 Full & Cisco CCENT & CCNA 4 weeks
  • FTTX/PON 4 days coming early 2012
  • Advance Optical testing 4 days coming early 2012
  • Certified Fibre Optic Technician level 3 coming soon 1 week course coming early 2012
  • Asbestos Training 1 day
  • HSE First Aid at work 3 days
  • Working at hieghts & IPAF 1 day
  • IOSH Managing Safety 5 days including exam
